Presenting Percy 'in great shape' ahead of October reappearance at Punchestown
Gold Cup rivals beware! The green machine Presenting Percy is charting a path back to his beloved Cheltenham, with a reappearance in the offing next month at Punchestown.
Last season's emphatic RSA Chase winner is said to be well on schedule for what promises to be a season like no other for trainer Patrick Kelly and owner Philip Reynolds, with the Irish Daily Star Chase a possible starting point for the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup contender.
The nine-time winner, who was audaciously campaigned last term – running in beginners' and handicap chases, Graded staying hurdles and chases – has been in training since the end of July along with Kim Muir runner-up Mall Dini.
