Post readers asked to nominate favourite racecourse experience
Entries are open for the fifth annual Racing Post Readers Award, staged in association with the Racecourse Association Showcase & Awards, which highlights outstanding customer service on British racecourses.
Readers can vote for up to five different racecourse experiences they have enjoyed between now and the close of entries on September 29, with the winning nominee treated to a VIP day out at the course they have chosen.
The trophy will be presented as part of the RCA Showcase & Awards ceremony at Newbury on November 16, when the overall racecourse of the year and the groundstaff of the year will be crowned, in addition to 11 other categories covering excellence and innovation.
Bath broke a northern stranglehold last year, after the first three awards were won by Aintree, Pontefract and Hamilton.
Racecourse services executive Paul Swain said: "This award is a hugely important part of the RCA Showcase & Awards, giving racegoers the chance to directly tell us about their positive experiences on racecourses.
"It is always a closely fought competition and we look forward to receiving the entries and crowning a winner at Newbury on November 16.”
Racing Post marketing director Louise Agran said: "We are delighted to be supporting the Racing Post Readers Award at the RCA Showcase awards for the fifth time this year.
"The award is so important as it gives our readers and users the chance to comment on their experiences as racegoers, and to recognise those racecourses who put their customers first."
