Qatar Vintage Stakes second Positive heads the betting for Saturday's seven-runner renewal of the Betway Solario Stakes at Sandown after declarations were made on Thursday morning.

The Clive Cox-trained juvenile bids to win the £50,000 race which has a high-quality honour roll that includes Oh So Sharp, Alhaarth, Raven's Pass, Kingman, Masar and last year's winner Too Darn Hot.

Positive, owned by Chelsea vice president Alan Spence, impressed on debut when scoring by five lengths at Salisbury before finishing the same distance behind leading two-year-old Pinatubo when stepped up to Group 2 company at Glorious Goodwood last month.

Adam Kirby's mount is the 11-8 favourite with Paddy Power, while the Charlie Appleby-trained Al Suhail, a recent four-length Yarmouth novice scorer who is a half-brother to Dante winner Telecaster, is priced at 15-8.

Visinari finished a further eight and a half lengths back in fourth in the Vintage Stakes but reopposes with Ryan Moore, successful on the imposing colt on debut at Newmarket in June, back on board.

Kameko, trained by Andrew Balding, is the only runner to boast winning course-and-distance form having landed a maiden at the Esher track last month.

John Gosden bids for a sixth victory in the race with narrow Kempton novice winner Eshaasy which would equal the tally of the Group 3 contest's leading trainer Sir Henry Cecil.

The Simon Dow-trained Hector Loza is the only dual winner in the field following all-weather novice wins at Lingfield and Chelmsford, while Full Verse, stablemate of Al Suhail, needs to bounce back from a below-par run in a nursery at Glorious Goodwood.

Encipher, Man Of The Night and Thunderous were among 11 entries not to be declared. The going at Sandown is good, good to firm in places and it is expected to stay dry between now and the end of Saturday's fixture.
