Thank goodness for the micro climate around Taunton as it means we have some cracking jump racing to look forward to today.

The winter weather has claimed Newcastle and Warwick as its latest victims, and while conditions will be no problem at Chelmsford or Tramore – where racing also takes place – Somerset is today's main focus.

That is in large part due to the rescheduled Grade 2 Peterborough Chase that is the undoubted highlight, but there are also plenty of other goodies to look forward to.
