Yorkshire courses are leading the way in promoting racing - hopefully the rest of Britain can follow suit

Those who like their racing in Yorkshire will be spoilt for choice this month with the annual Go Racing in Yorkshire summer festival starting on Friday week.
There are fixtures at eight of the county's courses and plenty more besides during an event that showcases all that is good about racing.
That might sound like a slogan ripped off from the organisers, but there are tangible benefits to multiple racecourses working together to promote the sport to new and existing audiences.
