Will cold snap make Mullins consider Al Boum Photo route for Galopin Des Champs?
What a shame the return of Galopin Des Champs had to be shelved this weekend with the cancellation of Punchestown's John Durkan Memorial Chase on Sunday.
Track officials "hope to hold the meeting in advance of Christmas", but weather forecasts for the coming week might not make such a move straightforward.
According to Met Eireann, temperatures will not get any higher than 0C until Friday afternoon, dropping to -6C on Monday and -5C on Thursday. The frost could have a real chance to sink its teeth into the ground if those predictions are right.
