Why, why, why? Coolmore name game takes us back to bad old days yet again

I thought Coolmore had turned the corner. Left the bad old days behind them. But there it was at Dundalk a couple of Wednesdays ago. Yet. Yes. Yet.

The two-year-old daughter of War Front by Butterflies (wouldn't Nervous Conflict be better?) won a 5f fillies' maiden in a photo for Aidan O'Brien. So what's the problem?

It's a rubbish name, that's what. It won't bother everyone, but in my role as a sub-editor for the Racing Post, it doesn't leave much to work with when writing a headline. And it will hardly inspire devotion among the wider public.
