We're finally able to learn about milkshaking - but it's all hands to the pump

Last week I touched on the long-standing delay to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board's intended pre-race testing regime. Well, the delay is now only in the implementation of that system.

On Friday, the IHRB wrote to the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association confirming that the relevant rule has been amended.

As we discussed last week, for a number of years the IRTA has lobbied to ensure that, if any horse is to be sampled before a race, then every horse in that race should be subject to the same process.
