Time for government to bring long-running doping impasse to an end
Those who follow Irish political affairs will be aware of the seemingly endless round of talks involved in attempts to get Northern Ireland's devolved administration at Stormont back up and running.
The world of Irish racing politics is currently dogged by the same capacity for interminable and inconclusive debate, with ongoing difficulties surrounding the introduction of effective and all-embracing drug-testing regimes.
