'Tiger Roll would have won with another stone on his back on Saturday'
Jessica Harrington, Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen join our expert panel
Can you put your finger on Tiger Roll’s special ability?
Sean Bowen, jockey Bravery and toughness are two of his main attributes. It also helps that he is trained by an absolute genius, who keeps bringing him back the way he does. Having ridden in the race it’s one I’ll always remember. It was special to be part of the day.
Jessica Harrington, trainer It’s his mental attitude and athletic ability combined. He’s the most unlikely National winner you would ever see, but he is just so agile for his size. He’s obviously very talented but also so versatile. He’s incredible.
Olly Murphy, trainer I know Tiger Roll well from my time at Gordon’s. He’s a freak, he’s special, he’s one in a million. But he’s trained by a genius. What Gordon has done with this horse is remarkable. He’s still improving.
