Spot the ricks in the market by learning how the professionals price up

Last week, I invited punters to take time for introspection. No multiple-choice surveys, no inspirational posters, just a look at yourself from enough of a distance to spot the tics and habits that define how you look for winners.

It is not a job that anyone else can do, which is why I didn't try. Your real life is led in your head and is known to none but yourself.

I had a go for myself and concluded, with only limited confidence, that one of my best skills is spotting wrong prices in pre-show markets. A rick-spotter, as it was termed.
