Next Sunday marks five months since the start of the 2021-22 jumps campaign in Ireland and the jockeys' standings at this stage make for intriguing reading.

As the curtain came down on last season's Punchestown festival, you'd have surely got long odds-on the tricast of Darragh O'Keeffe, Jordan Gainford and Shane Fitzgerald topping the table as we neared the halfway point of the campaign, but the three young riders have made terrific impressions this term.

Of course, injuries to leading jockeys have obviously played a role in the championship's make-up.
