Kolumbus could sail in if he handles the conditions
We're low on numbers at Naas with only Kolumbus in the 2m maiden hurdle (2.20) and Pravalaguna in the 2m Grade 2 novice hurdle (3.50) representing us.
Again, the heavy ground won't be ideal for either of them, but Kolumbus has good form, having run second on his last two starts, and you'd have to think his run behind Bacardys at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting might be good enough to win in light of Bacardys going on to win the Grade 1 Deloitte Novice Hurdle this month.
Kolumbus was beaten at Punchestown last time, but if he handles the conditions then this could be his day.
Pravalaguna, who will be wearing a hood for the first time, faces a tough task on the ground, having run disappointingly in similar conditions in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse on her most recent start.
