Max Dynamite embarks on a new phase of his career at Thurles on Saturday when he makes his debut over fences in the 3m Beginners Chase (12.10).

We toyed with the idea of sending him chasing in the past and we decided to try it now as he didn't seem to be enjoying things on the Flat.

He's done plenty of travelling and won a Group 2 at York and was also twice placed in the Melbourne Cup in which he was an unlucky second in 2015 before finishing third two years later.
