Jockeys Rab Havlin and Paul Mulrennan join trainer James Tate on the panel
If you were in Khalid Abdullah’s shoes, would you go again or retire Enable?
Rab Havlin, jockey Obviously the decision will be made between the boss [John Gosden] and Khalid Abdullah but, as long as she stays sound, I see no reason to retire her. She has been great for racing and we would all love to see her land a third Arc next October.
Sean Heffernan, Sportsbook odds compiler While I would love to see Enable return next season – she has already achieved so much – it would be hard to begrudge connections sending her to Kingman in the breeding shed.
Paul Mulrennan, jockey Enable has nothing to prove and has done it on both sides of the Atlantic. She has more to lose than gain so why would you take the risk? From a racing fan’s point of view I would love to see her race again, but breeding from her has to be the call.
