ITV chief Crozier plays down advertising concerns

A few years ago the then Football Association chief executive Adam Crozier is said to have coined the term 'golden generation' about a group of England players including David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard et al.

The phrase attributed to him ended up being something of a millstone around the players' necks.

Crozier is now chief executive at ITV and there will be many at the broadcaster and within racing who will be hoping his words do not come back to haunt him again about the review of gambling advertising on television currently being carried out by the government.
