Great people work in racing - how sad the stable staff body is letting them down

The Irish Stable Staff Association (ISSA) has serious questions to answer following revelations made public as a result of a Freedom of Information request.

Stable and stud farm staff form the backbone of our racing and breeding industries. Their largely hidden labours are typified by dedication, skill and professionalism. They keep the show on the road.

In return, the industry has a duty of care to its workforce, an obligation to put staff welfare, working conditions, rights and entitlements at the top of the agenda.
