Min in mint order for Grade 1 attempt
Min was very good when winning the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown a year ago before injury finished his season and we're hoping he'll go back and deliver a similar performance in the Grade 1 Paddy's Rewards Club Chase (1.15) on Wednesday.
We got him back on the track at Gowran Park last month when he won very easily over two and a half miles. It was only a three-runner race but he did what he had to do and won easily. He's facing a much stiffer task here but all has gone well with him since Gowran and he's in good order, so we're hoping for a big performance.
We run four in the other Grade 1 on the card – the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle (1.50) – and Paul Townend rides Real Steel, who won a maiden well at Thurles last month on his first start for us. This race represents a big step up in class and, while he seems in good form, we'll just have to see how he measures up.
