Don't feel guilty for thinking about Cheltenham in November - let's embrace it

So, then, bitching about Cheltenham has become the new black. A bit like skinny jeans a decade ago, I didn't see this one coming (RIP bootcut jeans, by the way, I will never forget you and your forgiving nature).

It is now seemingly fashionable to criticise our mecca in March. It has become a cool thing to do. If you want a cheap like or retweets, just tell the world it is far too early to be chatting about Cheltenham and explain that we must enjoy the Elite Hurdle first. You will gain new followers within minutes.

There's the Ladbrokes Trophy, the Tingle Creek, the Troytown, the Betfair Chase, and did you not realise the Clonmel Oil is on next Thursday? Don't you dare mention the 'C' word until the Betfair Hurdle has been run next February and, even then, it is still a bit premature. There's the Imperial Cup to be run a few weeks after that.
