Classic-winning jockey Martin Harley branching out after opening B&B

Anyone looking to combine a day's racing in Newmarket next year with a nice stay in a bed and breakfast will now be able to book with a Classic-winning jockey.

Martin Harley, who twice won the Prix Royal-Oak (French St Leger) on Tac De Boistron, has combined his riding with being a part-time grocer in recent years after going into business with his uncle Hugo.

The pair bought the busy shop and post office in the village of Moulton in 2019 and have refurbished the property that is popular with many racing figures including Charlie Appleby, who trains just a stone's throw away at Moulton Paddocks, and many of Harley's weighing room colleagues such as James Doyle, Jamie Spencer and Jack Mitchell.
