After a dramatic climax to the longest Six Nations comes the conclusion to the shortest British Flat season at Doncaster on Saturday. It's not the end of everything, just Flat racing on turf and the jockeys' championship.

That might still have a twist as Oisin Murphy and William Buick have not shut up shop: Buick's Newmarket Saturday treble cut Murphy's lead to seven, briefly, before four winners for Murphy at Wolverhampton that night restored the gap to 11. Both have a stack of mounts booked this week.

Fourth in that table on 94 is Hollie Doyle, who of course has had an outstanding year with 129 winners overall, surpassing the women's record she set last year, landing a Royal Ascot winner, a five-timer and a Champions Day double that included her first Group 1.
