Azeem Rafiq scandal shows why racing must handle Frost-Dunne case properly

English cricket has been holding its breath this week in anticipation of the latest episode of the racism scandal that has destroyed the reputation of Yorkshire CCC and is spreading through the sport.

The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee on Tuesday heard evidence from former Yorkshire player Azeem Rafiq, whose complaints about racial harassment and bullying during his two spells at the club precipitated the crisis, and Roger Hutton, who resigned as chair of Yorkshire following the storm of criticism over the county's handling of the investigation into Rafiq's complaints.

What Rafiq went through, and the negligence of the leadership at Yorkshire in handling his case, has been staggering and it must be hoped British racing is paying close attention to developments.
