One trainer, one jockey, one horse and one race to watch on Saturday

Trainer

It is getting late for new Cheltenham Festival contenders to emerge but Gary Moore's leading novice Shallwehaveonemore could well secure his place at the meeting with success in the Sky Bet Dovecote Novices' Hurdle (3.00).

The five-year-old was no match for Constitution Hill in the Tolworth at the start of January but got off the mark over hurdles in some style last month and has entries in the Supreme and County Hurdle at the festival. He is a likely hot favourite for Saturday's Grade 2 contest.

Moore also has a good chance in one of this weekend's big handicaps, the Coral Trophy (3.37), with last-time-out winner Zhiguli. The recent Lingfield winner is interesting now stepped up in distance.

Teddy Blue, entered in the Triumph, showed promise on his debut over obstacles and is upped in class in the Coral Adonis Juvenile Hurdle (1.50).

The dual-purpose trainer will be busy with plenty of runners at Lingfield's Betway Winter Derby meeting, including with outsider Barn Owl in the feature (2.05), while Black Gerry is an intriguing sole representative at Chepstow (1.43).

Jockey

Tom Bellamy has only ridden at Newcastle once and on that occasion his long trip north was rewarded, which bodes well for backers of Eclair Surf in the Vertem Eider Handicap Chase (3.15).

Bellamy was on board the eight-year-old when he stormed clear in Warwick's Classic Chase last time and despite a 10lb hike from the handicapper, Eclair Surf looks the one to beat.

Before that, the rider will get a spin around the course on Ar Mest in the four-runner 2m½f novice handicap chase (2.10).

Horse

Leading Grand National hope Any Second Now needs only to start in the Tote Bobbyjo Chase (4.18) to qualify for Aintree and a good run could see him become outright favourite.

The Ted Walsh-trained runner was sent off a 15-2 chance in last season's National and ran a blinder to finish third behind Minella Times, when many felt he was a touch unlucky.

This Grade 3 contest is likely to prove informative looking ahead to the National, with all four runners entered in the race. Burrows Saint was a place behind Any Second Now at Aintree and has gone well in two starts since, while Escaria Ten is no bigger than 16-1 for the National. Coko Beach also runs.

Race

Just over £85,000 is on offer to the winner of the Coral Trophy Handicap Chase (3.37) and 14 runners will battle it out for Kempton's big Saturday prize.

Annsam tops the early betting, having captured a similar race at Ascot when last seen. The Evan Williams-trained seven-year-old is only up 6lb in the weights for that win.

Christian Williams has three chances with Five Star Getaway appearing his best chance, while The Big Breakaway, Phoenix Way and Galahad Quest are also notable contenders.
