Noseda star Nemoralia set to miss Newbury test
Nemoralia is set to miss Saturday's featured Group 2 Betfred Hungerford Stakes at Newbury, for which she was 7-2 joint-favourite with the sponsors, in favour of an alternative target at York next week.
Jeremy Noseda's stable star had been vying for favouritism with Home Of The Brave for the 7f contest and had also been under consideration for a trip to the US for the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks until connections opted for a domestic campaign.
The daughter of More Than Ready ran her best race to date when finishing second to Qemah in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot in June but then was slightly disappointing when fifth at the same level in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly last month.
