No pleasure for Bolger in Josies Orders promotion

Enda Bolger can now boast five wins in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival but he has taken "absolutely no pleasure whatsoever" from the promotion of Josies Orders to first place following the disqualification of Any Currency.

JP McManus's Josies Orders was backed into 15-8 favourite on the day but was unable to reel in the Martin Keighley-trained Any Currency, who passed the post one length in front but on Thursday was stripped of the race following a positive post-race drugs test.

"It's heartbreaking for the Keighleys and my heart goes out to them," Bolger said. "Neither myself nor Mr McManus are taking any pleasure from this whatsoever. It is just one of those things. The rules are the rules but you never want to win a race like this.
