'No excuses' - Bravemansgame owner sweet on challenge for home-tie King George

Bryan Drew half-welcomed Bravemansgame being replaced as favourite for Monday's Ladbrokes King George VI Chase but insisted he has total faith in his challenger for the Kempton showpiece.

Trained by Paul Nicholls, Bravemansgame had long been favourite for the King George but Ladbrokes, who sponsor the prestigious Christmas prize, now have him at 15-8 behind 7-4 shot L'Homme Presse.

A host of firms cannot split the pair at 7-4 but Paddy Power and Betfair make Bravemansgame, who impressed with a fluent win in the Charlie Hall in October, their 13-8 market leader.
