Silvestre de Sousa bows out from British racing at Yarmouth on Sunday, feeling no bitterness about the lack of opportunities that fuelled the triple champion jockey's decision to rebuild his career in Hong Kong.

De Sousa has this year operated as a freelance following the decision of King Power Racing not to renew the organisation's contract with the Brazilian-born rider who was once retained by Godolphin.

Although his turf campaign kicked off in style with victory in the Lincoln on Johan, the 41-year-old has ultimately settled on a move to Hong Kong, where four previous stints yielded 91 winners.
