Three runners to note at Navan, Sedgefield and Windsor

Now the evenings are getting longer, there is more racing to get stuck into and this week starts with three meetings to tackle after work. Here are three runners it could be worth noting

5.20 Windsor

Mick Channon could probably run the yard cat and it would be competitive, given the trainer's red-hot form. He has made a fast start with his juveniles this season, and newcomer Karalini has been backed to continue that trend. The filly has a speedy pedigree and could make an immediate impact.

Frankincense
7.30 Navan

Ryan Moore may be aboard stablemate and favourite Southern France, but Aidan O'Brien's other newcomer, Frankincense, should be looked at as well. A brother to Group 2 winner and 2013 Derby fourth Battle Of Marengo, Frankincense has the pedigree to succeed, and should enjoy starting off over this 1m2f trip.

8.10 Sedgefield

Donald McCain does well with his bumper runners at the track, with a 27 per cent strike-rate (12 winners from 45 runners), and he has an interesting newcomer making her debut. The mare's pedigree contains winners, and she should be fully effective in the bumper sphere.
