The owners of Nyaleti have turned down "exceptional" offers from suitors of the filly in the United States whose best chance of seeing her in the flesh could be at this year's Breeders' Cup.

Her trainer Mark Johnston on Sunday said he was giving serious thought to running the impressive Princess Margaret Stakes winner in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes despite Ryan Moore advising she would be better suited to 7f.

Beyond York he admitted he was also tempted by a trip to Del Mar, the California track hosting this year's Breeders' Cup, to contest one of the two Juvenile Fillies' prizes in November.

Ridden for the first time by Moore, Nyaleti stretched to a five length victory at Ascot on Saturday to give Johnston his second win in the Group 3 prize 25 years after he made his Group race breakthrough with Marina Park in the same race.

Johnston said: "The original plan if she won yesterday was she would go Lowther then Cheveley Park, then Ryan put a bit of a spoke in that by saying he would be happier over further but sleeping on that I am not so sure. We are certainly not going to scrap the idea of the Lowther too lightly.

"She had so much speed yesterday. It looked to be a very fast run race early on and she had no problem lying up with that and then came away. It would be great to get a Group 1 before the end of the season.

"The other race we would seriously look at is at the Breeders' Cup. I've had one Breeders' Cup runner and that was Fruits Of Love so it's been a long time since I've been there at all. I have always fancied a runner in the Juvenile Fillies and it would be the Turf I would think we would go for. Europeans do very well in the juvenile races over there."

Nyaleti, who cost Johnston 40,000gns, is by US Grade 1 winner Arch who has sired top class horses on both dirt and turf, including Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame and Les Arcs, winner of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes and July Cup.

As a result her exploits have been closely followed in the US but Johnston said owner Chris Batterham is not interested in selling.

"There has been huge demand," the trainer said. "People have been trying to buy her from the States since the first time she ran. I got a text message from California saying they would love to see her there soon after she passed the post. That put [Breeders' Cup] thoughts in my mind.

"Chris has had incredible offers for her and he has said he doesn't want to sell her. It's been exceptional money.

"At least after yesterday she has her Group race win so has a very significant breeding value, a lot more than she cost, and she has a great pedigree as well, so at least he has banked something."
