Lion’s Pride gave notice that he will not be disgraced if pitched in against Constitution Hill and company in the Group 3 September Stakes at Kempton on Saturday when impressing in his latest exercise on the Al Bahathri Polytrack on Wednesday morning. 

The John and Thady Gosden-trained grey is something of a forgotten horse after spending most of last winter on his travels but does go well fresh, and stretched well clear of his lead over a mile on this occasion. 

Also from Clarehaven, William Buick called in to partner the winning juvenile Beguiled who enjoyed a sharp exercise over six furlongs with the unraced Must Be Love and has some smart entries including the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes. Owner Henry Lascelles also dropped by from the sales to watch his Baaeed youngster Saint Of Seville impress in a sharp exercise over six furlongs.
