New procedures for modernising ownership system to be introduced

The BHA's drive to simplify and modernise the processes around racehorse ownership will move a step forward on Wednesday when the number of categories of ownership will be reduced to five and the fee structure will be rationalised.

In addition, owners will be given access to the BHA's revamped Racing Admin website, which will act as a hub through which they will be able to manage their ownership online, as well as enjoying a number of new and enhanced features including easy access to the programme book free of charge.

From next Wednesday owners can set up a login at www2.racingadmin.com. August 30 is also the date when the BHA's new code of conduct for syndicate ownership comes into effect.
