The BHA hopes to publish a new governance structure for British racing this month, with the proposals having one last hurdle to negotiate before being ratified.

Constitutional documents can be signed and implemented once the new structure is approved by at least 75 per cent of members at an extraordinary general meeting of the Racecourse Association (RCA) on November 14.

Work on a new structure has been ongoing for the last year following the widespread acceptance across the sport that the Members' Agreement that has been in place since 2015 had become a hindrance to progress due to its powers of veto.
