Murphy set to become youngest to hold licence

Amy Murphy will become the youngest current member of the training ranks once her application for a dual-purpose licence is finalised in the next week.

Murphy, 24, enters the job with a wealth of experience having worked for Tom Dascombe, Gai Waterhouse and, most recently, Luca Cumani, for whom she was assistant trainer for three years.

She will take up residence at the Hamilton Stables in Newmarket.
