Moore hoping for another successful month at Deauville

Stan Moore breaks new ground at Deauville tomorrow when he sends out five runners at a meeting in France for the first time.

The Hungerford trainer, who is renting stables at Deauville throughout August, regularly crosses the Channel in search of better prize-money and is hopeful of making it pay once again this month.

Moore, who has Dolokhov, Rinky Dink Dawn and Battle Of Wits in one claimer, and Joyful Dream and The Night Is Ours in another, said yesterday: “We’ve taken stables here for the last couple of years and have space for four horses.
