Moore cut for jockeys' title ahead of Newmarket return

Ryan Moore will be back in big-race action from this weekend after the world's leading rider announced a low-key return to the saddle at Newmarket on Friday.

The three-time champion jockey, who is 17 winners adrift of leader Silvestre de Sousa, has spent nearly a month on the sidelines resting a hip injury and resumes with one ride on the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Spatial in the opening 7f fillies' maiden at the July course.

Paddy Power reacted to the news by cutting Moore into 10-1 from 25-1 for this year's Stobart-sponsored championship.
