Moore considers Aintree for Sire De Grugy

Sire De Grugy, one of the big names in a star-studded list of entries for the 188bet Monet's Garden Old Roan Chase at Aintree, is showing trainer Gary Moore he is raring to go but the weather will dictate whether he lines up on Sunday.

Moore is keen to get the ten-year-old racing ahead of his bid to win the Tingle Creek at Sandown at the start of December, as he did last year before finding Sprinter Sacre and Un De Sceaux too hot to handle later in the season.

Moore said: "I need to get a run into him as he is so well and has been galloping great but it is all governed by the weather.
