The remarkable Bubbly Bellini heads for Roscommon on Monday seeking his 20th victory on his 137th appearance.

The ten-year-old, who runs in the 7½f handicap (2.15), achieved his most recent success when scoring over six furlongs under Ross Coakley, who is aboard again, at Fairyhouse on Wednesday and trainer Ado McGuinness reports him in "great order ".

He said: "He came out of Fairyhouse very well. He's gone up 6lb since and has a 6lb penalty on Monday, so he's on his right mark. He loves racing and testing ground suits him well. He's been a fantastic horse for our yard and has never given us any problems."

The trainer added: "We'd love him to win as not many horses trained in Ireland win 20 races on the Flat. We'll keep him on the go until he tells us he's done enough."

In addition to his 19 wins, Bubbly Bellini has finished in the first three on 30 other occasions. He began his career in Britain with Alan Bailey, winning once before moving to George Baker for whom he was successful on three occasions.

He joined McGuinness in 2010 and achieved his biggest win in the Joe McGrath Premier Handicap at the Curragh in 2012. A son of Mull Of Kintyre, he has twice won over Monday's trip.
