Misty can make most of experience under new champion Egan

Tonight's racing comes from Kempton (the first race is at 5.45). Here are three horses to watch from the evening fixture.

Misty Spirit 6.45
Experience can count for Misty Spirit who has a prime opportunity on her sixth start to add to her win on the turf in August. She has been highly tried since and was well beaten in the Group 3 Dick Poole Stakes at Salisbury, where she raced too freely, but is better judged on her latest start at Newmarket when third in the Tattersalls October Auction Stakes. A repeat of that run for champion apprentice David Egan should make her hard to beat.

Masked Defender 7.15
After two decent efforts at 7f, Masked Defender steps down in distance, a move that should pay off with a first win. The colt ran well in a 6f maiden at Sandown last month and was to the fore next time at Lingfield but failed to last the trip in a race won by Purser, who was third in a Group 3 next time.

Four Kingdoms 8.45
Despite carrying a penalty after winning a handicap by eight lengths at Yarmouth, Four Kingdoms should continue to be a leading player. The three-year-old finished sixth on his only previous all-weather start but that was over an extended mile. He looks at home over this 1m4f trip and represents a stable that has enjoyed ten winners in the last fortnight.
