Delia Bushell arrived at Warwick late but left the Jockey Club early.
It all happened within the space of a year. Over the course of that year the group chief executive of a 270-year-old organisation was seldom removed from racing corridor chatter. Generally speaking, the things being said about her were not particularly positive, although nor was there much positivity in what she said about the Jockey Club, racing and a number of its people in a resignation letter that went way beyond explosive.
