Stan James shops get Megabet rebrand

Megabet is to be the new name for the Stan James retail operation, which will boast 112 shops after taking on 37 from the Coral-Ladbrokes merger propelling the company into fifth place in terms of UK numbers.

Euan McCormick, a director of Megabet, said: "One of the former Ladbrokes shops will be the first to come under our new livery, probably in the next month.

"We ran a competition among our staff for suggestions, that was a great help, got everyone thinking and Megabet eventually emerged."
