Responsible Gambling Week had an impact says Hagan
The chairman of the group behind Responsible Gambling Week told a gathering of politicians, regulators, charities and betting industry representatives he was sure the initiative had made a difference.
John Hagan of the Industry Group for Responsible Gambling was speaking at a reception in parliament to mark the week, which was the first time bodies from across all sectors of the gambling industry had come together in such a way.
Hagan said the week would be independently evaluated. However, he added: "I have no doubt that this week has made a difference.
