Impressive Shutter Speed shoots to top of Oaks market for Gosden
It might be some surprise that just one Oaks features on the packed CV of John Gosden, but the trainer took the wraps off a couple of fillies who could easily give him another in the Investec-sponsored Classic in June.
Shutter Speed is Paddy Power's new 6-1 favourite for the Oaks after she stamped her class on the conditions race that propelled Light Shift and Star Of Seville to Classic glory, while Gracious Diana is 16-1 with the firm after powering home in the 1m2f fillies' maiden.
Both winners were ridden by Frankie Dettori, who was more taken with the Khalid Abdullah-owned Shutter Speed.
