Nothing comes close to the Grand National. In this part of the world it towers over everything else racing has to offer. It is not only the biggest thing in the sport, it is also the best.
As someone who grew up in the north-west of England, the National has always held a special place in my heart. That love for the old race is even stronger than ever following a contest that was memorable for so many positive reasons. Here are some of them.
