Tom Marquand will take his first domestic rides since February at Sandown on Friday, less than a week after ending his most recent successful stint in Australia on a high when Addeybb landed the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick again.

The 23-year-old flew back from Sydney on Monday, and has already returned to riding out with another assault on the jockeys' title, in which he finished third to Oisin Murphy in 2020, on his agenda.

"It was a good trip but a bit different to last year as I could only get out there in mid-February and I then had to do two weeks quarantine which knocked out six or seven weeks of riding," he said.
