Ultra-prolific trainer Mark Johnston is poised to smash yet another record, if he can keep up his hot form.

Almost a year ago he became the most successful trainer in British racing history when Poet's Society's success at York gave him his 4,194th winner, overtaking the mark set by Richard Hannon snr.

Johnston sent out 50 winners in July, breaking his own record for most victories in a single month.
