Classic clues: Magna Grecia to lead O'Brien's bid for Group 1 Futurity glory

All eyes will be on the Vertem Futurity Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday for Classic clues and they will be staring hard at the favourite Magna Grecia, trained by the man who has supplied more such clues than most from the Group 1 contest.

Aidan O'Brien saddled eight winners of the race in its former guise as the Racing Post Trophy, and Magna Grecia, reported in good form on Tuesday, is set to spearhead a likely three-strong assault on the last Group 1 of the British season.

The son of Invincible Spirit, a best-priced 5-2, has been cut from 11-4 to 2-1 by William Hill, with Japan 4-1 joint second favourite alongside Phoenix Of Spain.
