After little rain since Wednesday, the Limekilns were reopened and trainers had the option of using the short gallop, which is barely seven furlongs, or the canter. Varian was among those taking advantage of this pristine terrain where this high class four-year-old shone under Andrea Atzeni. He may head to a Listed contest at Haydock next weekend.
