Line Of Reason, neck runner-up to Maarek in the totescoop6 Beverley Bullet 12 months ago, will bid to turn the tables on his old rival in Saturday’s renewal of the Yorkshire sprint.

Sent off a well-backed 100-30 favourite in the 5f contest last year, Line Of Reason appeared to have been produced to win by Graham Lee when striking the front inside the final furlong but he was worn down close home by his Irish-trained rival.
