Leicester and Down Royal pass inspections to ensure full bill of action
A full bill of action today as Leicester and Down Royal have come through morning inspections.
Officials were forced to check conditions but were satisfied racing could take place, so those fixtures join Ayr as the turf attractions, while Chelmsford and Newcastle race on the all-weather.
Down Royal - first race 1.05
Leicester - 1.15
Heavy - hurdles. Soft, heavy on Flat crossings -chases (GoingStick 3.8 - hurdle, 5.5 chases).
Distances: 2m races +18yds and 2m4f races +36yds. Hurdle six (third-last) will be omitted.
Chelmsford (AW) - 1.25
Ayr - 1.35
Heavy (GoingStick hurdle - 4.6, chase 4.9).
Distances: race one and three +22yds, two and six +11yds, four +42yds and fifth +36yds.
