Lloyd-Webber and Niarchos family among investors in new-look Tote

Prominent racehorse owners the Niarchos Family, Lord Lloyd-Webber, Simon Munir and Isaac Souede have been revealed as being among the investors in the group which took over ownership of the Tote in October.

Details of their stakes in UK Tote Group Limited came to light in documents lodged recently with Companies House.

The group, formerly known as Alizeti, completed its acquisition of the Tote from Fred Done's Betfred in October in a deal valuing the operator at around £115 million.
